About the College

The College of Education in Tuz Khurmatu is one of the colleges of Tikrit University. Established in 2013, it began its academic journey with two main departments: the Department of Arabic Language and the Department of Physics. Since then, the college has undergone remarkable development in creating new academic departments and expanding its programs to meet the demands of higher education.

In 2017, the college introduced evening studies, providing additional opportunities for students who wish to pursue their education alongside their work. As a qualitative step toward expansion, the college introduced two new departments in the 2024-2025 academic year: the Department of Life Sciences and the Department of Mathematics. These two departments are available in both morning and evening study systems, which contributes to enhancing educational opportunities and providing qualified scientific cadres to meet the needs of society.

The college continues its mission of preparing a generation of qualified teachers and researchers, committed to raising the level of education and actively contributing to the development of the educational and scientific process in Iraq.
