Division Tasks
The Scientific Affairs Division at the college is responsible for monitoring and organizing scientific and academic activities within the college. It coordinates with the scientific departments regarding:
- The scientific research plan and patent applications.
- Participation in conferences, seminars, and workshops.
- Academic promotion files for professors.
- Following up on scientific publishing requirements inside and outside Iraq.
- Monitoring postgraduate studies programs, if applicable.
- Updating databases related to the teaching and research staff.
- Communicating with the University Presidency regarding official letters related to scientific affairs, continuing education, and research and development.
- Responding to official letters received from the University Presidency or concerned authorities after coordination with relevant parties within the college, and submitting required responses and reports within the specified deadlines.
