About the Department

The Department of Physics at the College of Education Tuz Khurmato was established in 2013, coinciding with the founding of the college, to train specialized scientific cadres in the fields of physics and its applications. The department witnessed a qualitative development with the introduction of evening studies in 2017, providing wider educational opportunities for those interested in this vital field. The department is keen on providing modern and integrated scientific curricula, supervised by a selection of teaching competencies, with the aim of equipping students with the theoretical foundations and practical experiences that enable them to contribute effectively to scientific and technological development.

The vision of the Physics Department is to prepare a conscious generation capable of keeping pace with scientific development in all sectors of life in general and in particular, as this department has worked since its inception to graduate educational staff with a good level of foundation and correct experience.

Mission

The mission of the Physics Department is educational and scientifically purposeful, working to raise scientific generations capable of keeping pace with scientific developments in various cultural fields. Its highest mission is to provide competent professors who keep up with their reality and keep pace with it with a spirit eager for knowledge and learning..

Objectives

1. To establish a strong foundation in the principles of theoretical and experimental physics. 

 2. To develop scientific skills in analysis and problem-solving. 

 3. To prepare qualified personnel for work in education, scientific research, and industry.

 4. To promote scientific research and contribute to technological advancement.

 5. To develop students' critical and creative thinking.
