About the Unit

The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Education, Tuz Khurma is a subsidiary of the Continuing Education Center at Tikrit University. It is concerned with providing educational and training programs that aim to meet the needs of academic, technical, and service staff, in addition to students and members of the community.

Unit Objectives

1. Developing Skills and Knowledge

  • Providing training courses and qualification programs that are in line with the latest scientific and technological developments.

2. Connecting the University with the Labor Market

  • Organizing training courses that contribute to enhancing competencies and meeting the needs of the labor market.

3. Community Service

  • Addressing important societal issues such as electronic extortion, drug abuse, and combating terrorism.

The Unit's Role within the College

The Continuing Education Unit is considered one of the essential units in the college, as it contributes to organizing various courses and activities and enhances cooperation with the external community to provide solutions for various social problems.

The unit cooperates with other units within the college, such as:

  • Human Rights Unit
  • Follow-up, Employment, and Rehabilitation Unit
