Division Tasks
The Registration and Student Affairs Division is one of the main divisions in the college. Its tasks include managing the administrative and academic matters of students from their admission until graduation. It handles the registration of new students, updates their information, and documents their academic stages. It also issues official documents such as confirmations, graduation letters, and student results. The division is responsible for monitoring student transfers or hosting, and applying ministerial instructions related to student affairs in coordination with the scientific departments and relevant authorities.

Admission Procedures
The student admission process at the College of Education in Tuz Khurmatu begins with obtaining a graduation certificate from high school addressed to the college and authenticated by the school administration and the Directorate of Education it belongs to. The student then completes the medical examination procedures, which are often attached to the certificate, and brings all the required documents. Finally, they visit the college's registration division to finalize the procedures.
Tuition Fees
Please note that no tuition fees are collected from students during the morning study period, in compliance with the laws and instructions issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the university presidency. The only exceptions are those explicitly stated in these laws.
For the **application process**, a simple fee of **5,000 Iraqi Dinars** is collected from the student to complete their application procedures.
Tuition Fees for Evening Studies and Parallel Admission
Tuition fees for evening study programs and parallel admission vary as follows:
Evening Study:
- Humanities Departments: 950,000 Iraqi Dinars.
- Scientific Departments: 1,500,000 Iraqi Dinars.
Parallel Admission:
- Tuition fees for parallel admission are **half the amount** set for both humanities and scientific departments. Their study is in the morning.
Eligible Certificates
The College of Education in Tuz Khurmatu accepts graduates of the **scientific and literary branches** of high school, from both genders. The applicant must have a certificate proving the completion of their scientific or literary high school studies for the year they are applying for university study or the preceding year.
Required Documents for Application
To facilitate the application process and ensure all requirements are met, please prepare the following documents:
- Original High School Graduation Certificate: Must be authenticated by the Directorate of Education of the student's high school and addressed to "Tikrit University / College of Veterinary Medicine." (2 colored copies).
- Civil Status ID or Unified National Card: (2 colored copies).
- Iraqi Nationality Certificate: (2 colored copies).
- Housing Card and Ration Card: Or a housing endorsement authenticated by the municipal council. (2 colored copies).
- Civil Status ID and Iraqi Nationality Certificate of both parents: (2 colored copies for each).
- Civil Status ID of the guarantor and the ID of their workplace: (2 colored copies for each).
- Medical Examination: From any accredited health center. (2 colored copies).
- Personal Photos: 6 recent photos with a white background.
- Compact Disc (CD): Containing electronic copies of all the above documents.
Important Notes:
- The Civil Status ID (or Unified National Card) and the student's Nationality Certificate must be copied onto a single A4-sized paper, one-sided.
- The student's Housing Card and Ration Card must be copied onto a single A4-sized paper, one-sided.
- Please keep the application file, documents, and original certificate free from any folding, bending, stapling, or punching.
- All the above documents must be placed inside a plastic file for protection.
College Transfer and Hosting Regulations
Transfer and Hosting Regulations for the College of Education in Tuz Khurmatu (2025-2026)

- Students who have failed or postponed a year are not eligible to transfer between universities.
- Students who have passed the first round are eligible to process a transfer application.
- Students who have make-up exams are eligible to process a transfer application on the condition of passing the second round.
- Final-year students are not eligible to process transfer applications.
- Transfer procedures begin from Wednesday, 10/7/2024, until Thursday, 8/8/2024.
- Transfer procedures start at the originally requested university, accompanied by (a copy of the student's results for the first and second semesters, Civil Status ID or Unified Card, and a Housing Card).
- The student must complete registration procedures at the college they are transferring to within one week from the date of the transfer order and the head of the department's approval.
- The student has the right to submit a transfer cancellation request through the university they transferred to within one month from the date of the transfer order. Otherwise, the student loses the right to cancel the transfer.
- The student is entitled to process transfer applications for up to five universities.
Qualification and Employment
The College of Education in Tuz Khurmatu qualifies its students for work in educational and academic fields, and related specializations, through its various departments:
- Department of Arabic Language: Focuses on preparing specialized cadres in teaching the Arabic language and its literature, and qualifying them for scientific research and serving their mother tongue.
- Department of Physics: Qualifies students to teach the principles of physics and its applications, and develops their skills in scientific analysis and critical thinking.
- Department of Mathematics: Works on preparing distinguished teachers and researchers in mathematics, capable of simplifying complex concepts and developing curricula.
- Department of Life Sciences: Provides students with the necessary knowledge and skills in the fields of biology and natural sciences, with a focus on practical applications and scientific research.
This is achieved through:
- Practical Application and Field Training: Students undergo practical training to learn how to deal with various educational and research situations in their specializations.
- Collaboration with Educational and Research Institutions in the Region: This is to support students to be ready for work and to serve the community in all educational and academic specializations, and to contribute to building a conscious and educated generation.
Obtaining a Graduation Document
To obtain a graduation document, you must first visit the Registration Division - Documents Unit at the college to fill out the form for obtaining the graduation document. The type of document is specified as follows:
- Document in Arabic without grades
- Document in English without grades
- Document in Arabic with grades
- Document in English with grades
- Graduation confirmation
The following documents must be attached:
- A receipt from the Accounts Division for the document fee (varies by document type).
- Photos with a white background (the number varies by document type).
- A colored copy of the Civil Status ID.
- A colored copy of the passport, if available.
The delivery time for the document to the student varies depending on the type of document.
