Tuz Khurmatu College of Education participated in the central ceremony for the National Holy Quran Day

Professor Dr. Nihad Ali Shafiq, Dean of the College of Education/Tuz Khurmatu, accompanied by Dr. Waad Dilyan Anwar and Dr. Ibrahim Ali Suleiman, participated in the central ceremony held on the occasion of the National Day of the Holy Quran. The event took place at the Martyr Al-Hakim Hall at the University of Baghdad, today, Saturday, January 17, 2026.

The ceremony was held in the presence of His Excellency the Prime Minister and His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, alongside a distinguished group of academics, scholars, and official dignitaries. This blessed national occasion, celebrated annually on the 27th of Rajab, underscores the exalted status of the Holy Quran in shaping intellectual and cultural awareness and consolidating humanitarian and scientific values within society.

The participation of the Deanship of the College of Education/Tuz Khurmatu in this significant national forum affirms the college's commitment to active engagement in major scientific and cultural events. It further reflects its continuous contribution to supporting activities that enhance Quranic identity and bridge the gap between academic knowledge and authentic religious values, in alignment with the university’s mission and scientific objectives.
