Under the generous patronage of Professor Dr. Wa'ad Mahmoud Raouf, the esteemed President of Tikrit University, and the direct supervision of Professor Dr. Nihal Ali Shafiq, Dean of the College of Education, Toozkhoramto, the College of Education, Toozkhoramto, held its massive national and artistic festival on the morning of Sunday, December 14, 2025, to commemorate Victory Day.
The solemn ceremony commenced with verses from the Holy Quran, followed by standing in reverence for the National Anthem, signaling the start of the events.
Subsequently, the Dean of the College delivered a valuable speech, emphasizing the significance of this precious national occasion, recalling the sacrifices of the heroes and the role of educational institutions in instilling the values of unity and defense of the homeland.
The festival also witnessed an eloquent address by Dr. Ibrahim Ali Suleiman, Head of the Department of Arabic Language, who discussed aspects of the journey of victories and challenges, stressing the necessity of capitalizing on the victory to build a prosperous future for Iraq.
The ceremony was distinguished by its expressive artistic and national segments. The college students presented a poignant dramatic performance embodying the meanings of the noble sacrifices made by the sons of the nation and their response to the call for the sacred Jihad (struggle/defense) in order to defend the land and unity of Iraq, which received significant interaction from the audience.
The festival activities concluded with a series of spirited poetry recitations delivered by several gifted students, embodying feelings of pride and glory in the achieved victories and the splendor created by the Iraqis through their blood.
