Professor Dr. Nihad Ali Shafiq, Dean of the College of Education in Tuz Khurma, participated in the Third Conference on Digital Transformation and Automation Project. The conference, held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the University of Bilad Al-Rafidain - Diyala, was sponsored by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi. The event was attended by several Iraqi university presidents, members of the parliamentary education committee, and a select group of professors and students.
During his participation, Professor Dr. Nihad Ali Shafiq emphasized that digital transformation is a pivotal tool for developing educational institutions and enhancing their efficiency. He noted that keeping pace with technological advancements is no longer an option but an urgent necessity to ensure the quality of academic and administrative performance.
His Excellency also stressed the importance of integrating institutional efforts to effectively implement digital transformation and maximize its potential to serve the educational process and strengthen the position of Iraqi universities in the modern scientific arena.
