Under the auspices of the President of Tikrit University, Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education/Tuzkhurmatu, Professor Dr. Nihad Ali Shafiq, the Continuing Education Center, coordinated by Assistant Professor Dr. Sayyaf Abd Hussein, organized a scientific training course titled "Utilizing Mendeley Software in Scientific Research Writing for Mathematical Sciences" from March 8–10, 2026. This initiative aimed to enhance the academic proficiency of researchers and students by providing comprehensive training on Mendeley software, covering installation procedures and practical techniques for managing citations and organizing bibliographies with high academic precision. The course, which featured lectures by Dr. Ibrahim Saleh Ahmed, Dr. Samah Hussein Asaad Turk, and Lecturer Abdullah Mahmoud Jassim, included hands-on practical sessions attended by faculty members, staff, and students to ensure the effective application of acquired skills. In its concluding remarks, the organizers underscored the necessity of integrating modern digital tools into the research process to facilitate source documentation and elevate the overall quality of scholarly output.
