The College of Education in Tuz Khurmatu held a specialized scientific course entitled "Employing Mathematical Equations in Encryption Systems" -----------

Under the auspices of the esteemed President of the University, Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Nihad Ali Shafiq, with the diligent follow-up of Assistant Professor Dr. Sayyaf Abd Hussein, Director of the Continuing Education Center, and in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College, a training course was held from Monday to Wednesday, March 3–5, 2026, at 10:00 AM.

The session was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Nihad Ali Shafiq, alongside a group of faculty members, staff, and students. The lectures were delivered by Dr. Ibrahim Saleh Ahmed, Dr. Samah Hussein Asaad Turk, and Lecturer Abdullah Mahmoud Jassim. The course modules covered the mathematical foundations of modern cryptographic systems, emphasizing the role of modular arithmetic, number theory, prime numbers, linear algebra, and operations within finite fields in constructing cryptographic algorithms. Furthermore, the course featured practical applications, including the RSA and AES algorithms, while elucidating the correlation between mathematical complexity and the security levels of encryption systems. This initiative reflects the College's commitment to fostering scientific activity and integrating mathematical knowledge into contemporary technical applications.
