In line with the strategy of fostering academic and educational cooperation between educational institutions and maintaining a policy of outreach toward secondary schools, the College of Education at Tuz Khurmatu welcomed a delegation of female students from Tuz Secondary School for Gifted Girls, accompanied by their faculty, on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. This field visit aimed to introduce students to the university environment and provide firsthand insights into various scientific and humanities specializations. The visit included a comprehensive tour of the college’s laboratories, where students visited the computer, biology, and physics labs and received simplified demonstrations from academic staff regarding laboratory equipment and experimental protocols. Furthermore, the students experienced campus life by attending lectures in the Departments of Arabic Language and Mathematics, while gaining an overview of other academic departments and their respective curricula. This initiative falls under the category of exploratory educational field visits, designed to enhance academic awareness and motivate students to make informed decisions regarding their future career paths. At the conclusion of the tour, the delegation took commemorative photographs with the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Nihad Ali Shafiq, and several faculty members in an atmosphere of mutual appreciation. The visiting delegation expressed their sincere gratitude to the college administration and faculty for the warm reception and fruitful cooperation, highlighting the visit's impact on broadening their intellectual horizons and reinforcing their future academic aspirations.
